Mobomo’s Agile Process is a proven methodology based on Agile and Rational Unified Processes. Throughout each phase of the project (Discovery, Development, and Deployment), Mobomo has daily scrums, weekly deliverables / ad hoc builds, and monthly deployments to the various App Stores. This ensures that our customers are seeing results on a weekly basis and guaranteed delivery and project success.
Mobomo’s proven development methodology is blend of rapid, agile development and the Rational Unified Process (RUP). This process has been used successfully with many of our customers including the General Services Administration, Network Solutions, and Concordia University. It is important that mobile applications be developed using a methodology that has been tried, proven, and improved many times. A proven methodology ensures that all aspects of implementing a mobile solution are addressed.
Our process includes daily scrums, weekly deliverables / builds, and monthly submissions to app stores.
During the Strategy and Design phase, the team solidifies the mission by examining the major objectives of the project to identify how to measure success. Mobomo understands that the major hurdles to many mobile projects are not only the technology, but also understanding the needs of the program managers and users. Through interactive meetings with user focus groups, stakeholders, and business experts, Mobomo gathers a detailed understanding of the mobile solution and its components.
Due to the unique characteristics of mobile applications (limited screen size, navigation restrictions, broad audiences, GPS location capabilities, etc.), Mobomo pays a great deal of time and attention to defining user experience. Sketches are used for discovery and determining of features and functionality.
Throughout the project the application is prototyped. From paper-based wireframes and workflows to working prototypes on simulators and / or devices, Mobomo prides itself in being able to develop prototypes rapidly.
Mobomo uses an agile development process of daily scrums, weekly deliverables / builds, and monthly submissions to app stores. Weekly prototype iterations enhance the functionality, usability, and user personalization capabilities of the app until finally, at the end of the development step, the solution is ready for beta testing.
Once the development iterations are compete, a soft launch is performed to beta test the app under real-world conditions. During the soft launch, the entire system is tested to ensure it meets the expectations outlined in the system test plan.
Once the Beta test is completed, the solution is deployed into production on the appropriate app stores and production web servers.
