Mobomo seeks a developer who will work with the rest of our team of software developers and engineers on multiple projects. Current efforts include a full-featured energy simulation for the US Army and Marine Corps, and mission planning applications for autonomous aircraft. Initial focus will be on migrating our application to a cloud-based PaaS.

 Required Skills and Qualifications: 

• 2-5 years’ experience with software development
• Proficient in at least one of the following: Python, C++, or Go
• Experience with Git/Gitlab
• Experience developing unit and integration tests
• B.S. degree in Computer Science, or an engineering or science field
• Must be able to obtain/qualify for government Common Access Card (CAC)

Desired Skills and Qualifications:       

• Experience with modeling and simulation
• Front End development experience (React, NodeJS)
• Experience setting up applications on AWS, Azure, or other cloud service providers
• Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab CI, Jenkins, GitHub actions).
• Experience with code scanning tools like Fortify, SonarQube, etc.

Type of Position: Full-Time, work from home

Travel: None anticipated other than occasional local meet-ups

Work Environment: Small team working predominantly offsite with occasional onsite meetings to plan and review work.  Frequent online collaboration using standard tools.
