Technical Account Manager – Tysons Corner
Mobomo is looking for a Technical Account Manager with proven experience leading enterprise and cloud development initiatives. This role requires deep technology knowledge and the ability to establish and improve engineering systems and processes. We’re in the business of being awesome, so bring your best game to the table.
Candidates should be comfortable leading implementations that span a wide variety of areas such as data visualization and analysis, audio/video streaming, mobile integration, API development and documentation, and more. Candidates with previous experience working with and hosting Drupal will get extra points, especially in the context of Acquia or AWS.

Provide technical leadership and direction to projects across the Mobomo portfolio
Participate in new project architectural solutioning, staff allocation, and timeline planning for commercial and federal clients
Maintain excellence in breaking and current industry standards surrounding DevOps, hosting, and general engineering, and provide these ideas and strategies to the projects that need them the most
Communicate action items and technical solutions with the client in both technical and non-technical forms including, but not limited to, presentations and on-site engagement
Analyze and report on project velocity and maintain an accurate risk registry detailing all aspects of an engagement
Promote policies and procedures surrounding development, deployment, and quality control
Work with company technical leadership to develop strategic operational plans for the future of Mobomo’s technical work
Contribute to engineering efforts by directly programming or reviewing peer-completed work
Increase Mobomo brand awareness and portfolio by participating in conference and tradeshow sessions and showcasing our work
Minimum of seven years experience in a technology related career, especially, but not limited to, web development
At least five years of experience leading teams and projects with at least a few recent years directly overseeing staff on the projects
Real-world experience with cloud solutioning, development, and deployment for large or enterprise-scale clients
A solid understanding of modern monolithic and microservice type architectures, especially in the context of their implementation on cloud service providers
Experience working in AWS or similar large scale provider - AWS certification a major plus
History of managing people with a proven talent for team leadership and employee growth
Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple clients, projects, and tasks simultaneously
Expert-level understanding of web development concepts such as content management systems, front and back-end engineering efforts, and DevOps, CI/CD, scaling, and high-availability strategy
High interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication; experience with presenting advanced technical ideas to non-technical audiences a big plus
Bonus points if you’re an expert in security concepts like SSO, have major experience in a CMS like Drupal, or can show extensive past performance selling different technologies to lay people like it’s going out of style
