Damascus, MD – Mobomo, LLC announced today that it has successfully completed a Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 1 appraisal and is actively pursuing CMMC Level 2 compliance in alignment with U.S. Department of Defense requirements.
CMMC Level 1 focuses on the implementation of foundational cybersecurity practices to protect Federal Contract Information (FCI). Mobomo’s successful appraisal confirms that the company has established and documented the required practices to meet Level 1 requirements.
Building on this milestone, Mobomo is actively progressing toward CMMC Level 2, which expand security requirements to protect Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Preparation efforts include enhancing technical controls, formalizing policies and procedures, and strengthening monitoring and incident response capabilities in accordance with the CMMC framework.
