Meet the folks who create our awesome.
Barg Upender is the Founder of Mobomo, with over twenty years of software development experience for federal and commercial customers. He specializes in mobile app development, user experience design, Web 2.0 designs, social media, cross-browser development, and Agile project management.
Barg has written numerous articles, and presented workshops at various conferences: he has received many awards for his user experience expertise. With two successful companies (Mobomo and Intridea, a web application development company) to his name, Barg was elected as one of Washingtonian magazine’s Top 100 Tech Titans in the D.C.-metro area.
He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, a MSEE in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, and a M.Sc. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute at Hartford. He is a 2008 alumni of the prestigious MindShare CEO Network, the leading entrepreneur network in the DC-metro area.
Ken Fang is the President of Mobomo, primarily overseeing the strategy and operations of the company. He works closely with clients to create mobile solutions to meet their strategic needs, and is adept at developing apps on all major mobile platforms, including iOS, Android, Blackberry, Windows Phone, and mobile web. In addition to running Mobomo, Ken is the founder and chairman of Altum, Inc., the market leader of enterprise grants management and performance management solutions for federal and philanthropic organizations. In 2009, the Washington Business Journal recognized Ken as one of the D.C.-metro area’s top minority business leaders; additionally, he has published a number of titles and articles in educational software and advanced computing technology. He holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Computer Science from Pennsylvania State University, an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a certificate in Bioinformatics from Stanford University.
Brian Lacey was named CEO of Mobomo in April of 2015, since the company has grown around 50% in revenue and 50% in employee growth each year. Under his leadership he has led Mobomo to being named to the Inc. 5000 fastest growing companies (2015,2016), Best Places to Work (2016), Webby Award (2016), Muse Creative Award(2016), DCA Live Media(2016), Top website and mobile developer by Clutch (2015, 2016).
Brian serves as a thought leader in the industry recently being named as an industry chair to Advanced Technology Academic Research Center.
He received a double B.A. in Economics and Psychology from Claremont McKenna College.
Wendy Fyock is Mobomo’s Chief Financial Officer. She manages all financial and administrative aspects of Mobomo and oversees its security matters. Wendy holds a BS in Accounting and Management from the University of Maryland University College, graduating in three and half years while working full time in the Accounting Department of a satellite manufacturing company. She passed the CPA exam at her first sitting in 1991 and became a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) in 2007. She also is a notary.
Wendy joined Mobomo as a partner in 2011. She also is the CFO of Altum, Inc. (since 1999) and the CFO and Managing Partner of Dimora Enterprises (since 2014).
Prior to Altum and Mobomo, she was the Controller (1992-1994) of Keystone Corporation, a telecommunications company. Keystone was purchased in 1995 by the owner of National Telecom, USA. Wendy was CFO of both companies from 1995 to 1998 when the telecom consortium relocated all operations to Florida. Wendy started her own public accounting firm in 1998 which she sold to Metro, Metro and Associates in 2008.
In 2015, Wendy was recognized with an Executive Management Award by Smart CEO Magazine. This is her third award by Smart CEO Magazine as in 2010, the publication chose Wendy for a Smart CFO Award and her fellow finalists selected her as THE Smart CFO. The Executive Management award celebrates C-Suite executives for their creative management, vision, leadership philosophy, innovative strategy and undeniable work ethic. In 2015, Wendy also was recognized by Who’s Who of Distinguished Alumni for ascending the summit of professional accomplishment and by The National Association of Professional Woman as VIP Woman of the Year Circle for 2015-2016 for excellence, leadership and commitment to her profession, while encouraging the achievement of Professional Women.
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Shawn MacFarland is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Mobomo, bringing more than 20 years of software engineering experience designing and developing both federal and commercial enterprise solutions. Over his career he has developed shrink wrapped and mobile apps, lead teams and business units, linearized legacy costs and championed modern approaches, and most recently architected and directed the creation of an AWS dual Region FedRAMP compliant Content Management PAAS. He loves to solve complex technical problems and to oversee the implementation of solutions to those problems. Over the years he has worked with large projects based on COM/CORBA C++ Enterprise, JAVA EE, Ruby on Rails, Percussion, both Drupal and WordPress CMSes, and node.js. He is OS agnostic, loving Linux and Windows equally, so long as the master-images are CIS-Benchmark compliant and current with security patches. Rather than focusing on a specific language stack, he advocates polyglot solutions to leverage language strengths to the specific problems spaces in which they excel. Because he respects the difficulty of distributed computing problems he prefers cloud service solutions particularly AWS-based offerings, to the creation of custom coded solutions to handle enterprise infrastructure services. He is currently driving company wide technical vision and coordinating multi-discipline engineering teams to make this vision a reality. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
Ms. Paula Cintioni is the lead interaction designer at Mobomo. She has 9+ years of experience, including web/mobile interface, interaction, and usability design. Her job consists of directing the strategy and delivery schedule of all graphics deliverables. In addition, she’s the director of our team in Buenos Aires coordinating the whole offshore operation.
Gerardo Pinkus has been passionately delivering exceptional graphic design for 8 years now. As Mobomo’s Art Director, he’s the beacon that leads all the design efforts to bring every product delivered to its highest quality. Mr. Pinkus’ attention to detail and talent help him set the desired styles tailored to fulfill every client’s needs.
His first steps in the digital world began years ago designing websites for a variety of clients at design studios. Later on, he jumped on board into the mobile world to which he has devoted his career up to today.
William is a Director with two decades of experience in IT. Working on whitehouse.gov with both the Clinton and Bush administrations, William started his professional life as a graphic designer and worked his way up to be the manager of Web Technologies and Application Support for the White House. Having additional experience with other Washington-based organizations, he’s well equipped to navigate the special challenges that beltway projects can contain. Known for a good sense of humor, William can make the most of any situation and works hard to make everyone’s experiences as stress-free as possible. When not building SharePoint lists or PowerPoint decks, William likes to play with his two dogs, two cats, and three guitars. (Not all at the same time, of course.)

Karandeep Kang is a Director at Mobomo, bringing extensive expertise in quality assurance, test management, test automation, requirements gathering, and development management. He received a B.S. in Neuroscience from the College of William & Mary.
Mary Matalas has over 15 years of client-focused experience developing strategy and leading teams in delivering digital, social networking and cloud-based platform solutions with both public sector and commercial clients. Her strengths are in working collaboratively with clients to build long lasting, trust-based relationships and in building creative, motivated cross-functional teams that deliver high quality services and products.
Ryan McNey is a Director at Mobomo. He brings 6+ years of IT experience supporting federal and commercial clients, with a specific focus on Systems Integration. Ryan is passionate about design, problem-solving, and collaboration. He received a B.S. in Business Management from West Virginia University
Austin White is a Director leading complex mobile, web and cloud infrastructure development for at NASA and the International Trade Administration within Mobomo’s Federal Practice as well as a number of political organizations on the commercial side. Austin, a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM), also develops on the Microsoft Dynamics platform and the Atlasssian suite. Prior to joining Mobomo, Austin served as a Senior Consultant for Blackstone Technology Group’s Digital Services practice, managing enterprise digital transformation efforts for top U.S. financial and energy firms.
Peter Van utilizes Agile and Scrum methodologies to help organizations improve their experiences through the medium of mobile and web. With over a decade of project management experience, he has worked with clients such as the United States Geological Survey (USGS), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), United Service Organizations (USO), and Gallup to solve operational and technical problems by implementing new applications and websites to provide a better mobile and web experiences for employees and users alike.
Director of Sales Engineering
Clinton Herget is a Software Engineer with over a decade of experience in architecting, building and supporting complex web and mobile applications in the public-sector and nonprofit spaces. At Mobomo Clinton focuses on DevOps engineering and technical architecture, leading the team supporting USGS.gov and various other USGS applications. His skill-set includes Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, Drupal, Amazon Web Services, Chef, Jenkins, Python, Ruby and numerous other languages and tools. Clinton is passionate about automation, scalability, continuous integration, and highly available infrastructure. He holds a B.A. in Government from the College of William & Mary and is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
Lucas Riutzel is a full-stack Software Engineer with 9 years experience in planning, developing, and implementing interactive websites. He enjoys building and managing linux based server infrastructure. Lucas is proficient in numerous programming languages and is an advocate on topics of privacy and security. He has spoken previously at Drupal Camp Chicago and is a co-founder of a local Drupal group.
Director of Engineering Operations
Miles McLean is a Software Engineer bringing with him over ten years of IT management and systems engineering experience. Proficient in Microsoft and Linux enterprises, Miles specializes in custom DevOps work surrounding automation, scripting, and software deployment suites across multiple platforms. He is also experienced in hardware, both physical and virtual, as well as network infrastructure, storage, database, and resource utilization management. His free time is spent exploring rivers, forests, caves, and video games around his home in Nixa, Missouri.
Amanda Collodel is a Deputy Director at Mobomo with over 16 years of information technology (IT) experience, including over 8 years of SharePoint administration. She has worked with federal and defense clients within the Department of Defense (DOD) Defense Security Services (DSS), the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) Headquarters, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), building strong client and team relationships while implementing innovative solutions. Always eager to organize and simplify, Amanda enjoys weaving tangles of digital yarn into beautiful technological tapestries that serve a purpose and tell a story. Amanda holds a B.A. in Art and Visual Technology from George Mason University and is a Certified Scrum Master.
Alejandra has over 10 years of experience in Human Resources. She is highly experienced in developing HR policies and processes and her expertise is IT Talent Acquisition. She holds a Bachelors degree in Human Resources, a Master degree in Sociology and different postgraduates certificates. She worked for big companies such as Verizon and AT&T and for start-ups like Network Solutions and Crossover. Ale is our People Operations Manager. She loves technology and is a fan of music..
Sr. Project Manager
Javier Destefanis is a Project Manager at Mobomo with over 17+ years of IT and systems engineering experience. His professional career started in Teletech at the Global Development Center. He played as a technical team leader for Global IT projects across the world. He had the chance to work for the US Government for the Census 2010. Also he was honored as the Key Player of the company for his achievements as Project Manager. Also, he has been working for Fox Company going through the migration process of FOX+ channel and Foxplay products. He loves leading or being a key part of the design and management process for challenging products that require the latest technologies. His major expertise is in web and .net applications with a special focus on the database and middle-tier, as well as application’s architecture.
Nicolas is a passionate mobile developer who has been working with Android Platform since 2010 with previous experience in server centric projects and frontend developments. If not coding probably he is reading about latest technologies or reading/watching gadgets reviews. As a passionate retro gamer he is probably playing any ‘Sonic The Hedgehog’ 16bit game or other classics in his free time.
Brianne has a passion for perfecting user flows and overall user experience online. Het attention to small details and the needs of her clients ensures the success of every project she is a part of. Brianne has a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University Northern Colorado, and currently lives in Fort Collins, Colorado with her husband.
Andrew Freitas is a Project Manager at Mobomo. He has experience in web programming, coding, quality assurance, advertising, marketing, video production, and video game design.
Quality Assurance Lead
Eduardo is used to working in changing scenarios and devising strategies to assure the best possible outcome. He has worked alongside development teams and government officials to guarantee quality assurance standards across Latin America. An entrepreneur with strong analytics skills and good interpersonal abilities, who is always eager to learn, work in teams, coordinate activities and share acquired knowledge. He relies on good pragmatic analysis rather than forcefully implemented solutions.
Designer & Developer
Ines Sotomayor is an amazing front-end developer. She’s also an accomplished graphic designer with almost 15 years of experience in the digital and interactive field. She’s passionate about creating perfectly coded websites and attentive to every detail to reflect the original design. Ines taught Typography at the university for several years and still takes calligraphy classes on her free time.
Gabriel’s experience as a graphic designer for more than 6 years working on diverse media, such as print and animation, helps him bring that graphic knowledge to the digital realm. This makes him highly conscious about detail in terms of layout, typography and pixel-perfect designing, as well as having a concept driven work strategy. If you catch him after work, you may find him covering non-piano songs.. on a piano.
Debbie is a well-rounded web developer with a knack for tackling complex problems. She is an avid learner of the latest web standards and her expertise includes building and customizing Drupal and WordPress sites with a responsive design in mind. She is passionate about various front end technologies and strives to find the best solutions that are both user-friendly and efficient. She holds a B.S. in Information Technologies from George Mason University.
Scott Thomas is our User Experience and User Interface designer at Mobomo. He offers 4+ years of design experience in launching over 40+ digital projects across all sectors. His role is to develop user strategy and design in creating friendly tools that balance your business goals and user needs. Scott’s keen eye for design and technical background is another essential asset at Mobomo who helps turn your idea into a success.
Mrs. Maite Morici has 5+ years of experience working on the technologies environment, providing QA and Technical Support. She has worked with an assortment of products, including videogames, web and mobile applications. Her responsibilities include manual testing, regressions and usability, identifying system or application problems, in order to assure the quality of a product. Maite is passionate about QA and fluid communication among teams.
Adam Frazin, Mobomo’s lead Technical Architect, boasts over 16 years of post-graduate software engineering experience. A master of Java, Ruby on Rails, C/C++, and countless other frameworks and software, Adam prides himself on making clients’ systems faster and simpler. He continually strives for quality in the development process, and deeply enjoys teaching others how to achieve the same. Adam received a B.S.E in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and an M.S. in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
Mr. Retik has 7+ years of experience providing quality assurance for a wide array of web and mobile applications. His responsibilities include usability, end-to-end, functional/non-functional, regression, and automated testing. He evaluates the quality of products through each stage of their life cycles and works with developers and project managers to address issues.
Chris Wachtman is an experienced front-end software engineer with deep expertise in creating responsive designs that are engaging, as well as 508-compliant. Chris has led efforts in creating the front-end for www.USA.gov, www.GobiernoUSA.gov, and new.export.gov. He regularly contributes his talent to www.nasa.gov, and has created multiple front-end widgets for the new NASA website. Chris is an Android enthusiast, and holds a B.S. in Computer Science (with a Minor in Math) from Virginia Tech.
Ana has been designing websites professionally for over 3 years. She loves design and technology, and on her free time she plays the bass and takes photographs.
Highly talented designer and illustrator, Silvina is always striving to find the latest trends in design to keep her style fresh. She’s been working on mobile design for 2 years now gaining experience rapidly. She has a passion for color which she pours completely into creating outstanding layouts and illustrations.
Passionate about design, user experience/interface (UX/UI), and front-end web development, Joshua Lilly helps to create beautiful, smart products as a Mobomo Project Manager. He has a professional background in healthcare construction, and is a proponent of the Agile methodology. Joshua holds a B.A. in Architecture, and an M.S. in Building Construction Science and Management from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech).
Johana has 5+ years of experience providing QA in video games, web and mobile applications. She is responsible for identifying issues and possible improvements, performing manual testing and regressions. She is passionate about delivering products with excellent performance, usability and design.
Chris has 5+ years of QA/Testing experience in web and mobile applications. He specializes in developing automated tests using Selenium and Behat. In addition to also being responsible for functional, regression, usability, and UI testing, Chris also works with project managers and developers to identify and prioritize issues and defects. Chris received his B.S. in Information Systems and Operations Management from George Mason University.
Tenko Dimanov is a full-stack Sr. Software Developer with over two decades of experience. Worked for variety of large enterprise grade projects for multiple government, and private structures.
Luis has over 9 years of experience in graphic design. His speciality is in web and mobile design, and passionate about user experience. He loves providing users with good UX through thoughtfully implemented wireframes and design. His goal is to achieve better design quality in every project, he is proactive who is constantly researching and learning in order to improve my work.
Rick Harp is a Software Engineer with a technical background in Object Oriented Programming and Database Administration. Rick is dedicated to self-development and constantly looking for new ways to better himself. He is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science in Springfield, Missouri where he and his family resides. In his free time Rick enjoys hiking, sports, and game development.
Mariana has worked with digital technology for around 11 years now and has specialised in Drupal in the last 7. A problem solver, she’s good at tracking down bugs and fixing them. Linux user and enthusiast of Free Software, she is part of her local Drupal community in Buenos Aires.
Away from the keyboard, Mariana enjoys playing music, soldering circuits and being by the sea.
Orrin Rohrer is a Software Engineer bringing with him over 15 years of systems engineering, automation, and data center management experience. Orrin is proficient in a variety of areas such as architecting infrastructures, security, network management, and devops work. He has experience in working with virtual and physical environments, as well as programming for automation, systems engineering, and monitoring. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, lifting weights, basketball, and mountain biking. He holds a B.A. in Business Management from Evangel University.
Silvina Roldan has over ten years of software development experience.
She is involved in iOS development since 2011 because Objective-C and Swift are the languages she like most. During these years she has worked with many different types of apps like social networking, live video streaming, navigation, e-commerce and healthcare.
She is a passionate and an avid learner of the latest iOS technology. She holds a degree in System Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (Argentina).
Lais is a junior graphic designer who is always looking to improve her skills and expand both her interests and abilities. As a pixel-perfect lover and passionate paper enthusiast, she can switch from digital design to artcraft with ease. She also enjoys teaching Media Art Studies at the university. You will often find her singing.
Rachelle Pineda has over 3+ years of experience working in a IT environment providing process improvement and QA support testing web and mobile applications. Her responsibilities include functional, regression, and UI testing in addition to creating test reports. Rachelle also works with project managers to identify issues and defects and lead user acceptance testing. She enjoys hiking, food, and spending time her friends, family, and dog named Dex.
Leah Lloyd brings over 30 years of office experience with her, from local law office to international wall art supplier to New York City clothing production management. In her free time, she sews costumes, putters in the garden, and collects cats.
Roc Yu is a software engineer that has 7+ years experience on ruby on rails. Also built single page applications for multiple clients with Backbonejs, Angularjs. In the meantime, he’s capable of setup linux servers with devops tools like Chef and Ansible.
Rodrigo is a web and mobile developer, currently doing his best to develop Android apps. He is passionate about learning and keeping up to date with the latest technologies and coding methodologies. Enjoying what you do is a must for him, is his motto. When he is not coding, he loves to spend time his wife and son, play football with friends and visit the mountains once in a while.
Pablo is an iOS developer with more than 5 years of experience in the field. He enjoys learning new stuff every day and sharing his knowledge with other fellows. He is very obsessive about clean code and good practices. In his spare time, he likes cooking and playing the piano.
Isaac Battaglia is a Software Engineer with over 5 years of IT management and programming experience. Isaac loves to learn and is always picking up new technical skills. He uses these skills to tackle upcoming challenges in his professional career and home lab environment. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family, playing ultimate frisbee, gaming, or just going for a run.
Senior Software Engineer
Carwin Young is a Senior Software Engineer with over 10 years of experience in web development. He has experience with a variety of technologies and front-end frameworks and is always learning something new. Outside of work, Carwin enjoys rock climbing, weightlifting, and Oxford commas.
Carey Erickson is a content strategist managing the content migration side of the NOAA Fisheries project. She brings 16 years of experience in the public sector specializing in content strategy, content syndication, web content management, mobile strategy, social media marketing, and usability testing. With her public administration background, Carey always considers her ultimate client to be the public users of the products she develops.
Carey has proven skills in program management, event planning/training and developing products with minimal resources. She has a BA in Political Science from Colorado College, and an MA and MPA from the University of Kansas.
Lautaro is a Software Engineer with more than six years of systems engineering experience and a MBA in progress. He has a lot of experience with a variety of back-end and front-end technologies and he is always learning new things. Lautaro is a specialist in Full-Stack development and loves the challenges. Outside of work, Lautaro enjoys doing crossfit and weightlifting, reading a lot about new technology trends and being a real nerd.
Anand Dwivedi brings 13 years of IT experience including consulting, customer account management, and recently technical product management. He enjoys building products customers love, while also driving sustainable business growth. Anand enjoys the learning and collaboration through all layers of the product life cycle. He earned his Bachelors degrees in Information Systems and Logistics & Supply Chain Management from the R.H. Smith School of Business at University of Maryland, College Park.
Jazmen’s client focused approach to project management comes from her experience in the government contracting, non-profit and real estate industries. When Jazmen is not working, she is traveling, volunteering or running around Alexandria, VA with her Jack Russell, Payton. Jazmen has a BA in Political Science and Economics from Hampton University and a MS in Project Management from Drexel University. She is PMP certified and holds membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and the Junior League of Northern Virginia.
While completing his masters, Mike developed a strong interest in all things UX. He has dabbled in freelance programming and UX research/design, and worked three years in operations in college athletics. He holds a B.A. in Professional Writing and Philosophy, and an M.S. in Information Technology. He hails from Pittsburgh, PA and enjoys cheering on any team from the City of Champions
Mr. Self is a Senior Development Engineer at Mobomo. During his more than 10 years of development experience, he has worked almost exclusively with Drupal, especially in the front end space. Prior to joining Mobomo, Scot was a part owner of Inner File Software, which focused on Drupal and FileMaker development, especially integrating the two. As a front-end developer and site-builder, Scot’s expertise includes theming (HTML, CSS, JS) and PHP. Besides coding, he enjoys playing bluegrass music, doing crossfit and spending time with his family (wife Daphne, daughter Juniper and son Tristan). Scot holds a B.A. in French from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) an M. A. in French language and civilization from NYU.
James Tawney is a System Administrator who supports international customers via installation, configuration and maintenance of systems hardware/software. With over 10 years of IT environment experience providing remote support to the applications utilized by the United States Department of Commerce (USDOC). He holds an A.A.S in Information Technology as well as MCITP and Network + certifications.
Senior Systems Engineer
Michael has been a Citrix Engineer and VMWare Engineer since 2005, working as a consultant for a variety of Govt. agencies throughout. At ITA he has included AWS experience into his repertoire, as well as increased his knowledge of Powershell and VB scripting.
On a sideline, Michael also likes to hang out with his wife, lift weights, go to the shooting range whenever he can, play guitar, give his five kids and two dogs a hard time, and work with Gideons International.
Natalie is a Project Manager with Mobomo having over 8 years experience working in federal government contracting. She enjoys fostering collaboration and is committed to client success. Natalie earned her B.S. in Marketing from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (Go Aggies!) and MBA from the University of Maryland University College. She is PMP certified and is a Certified Scrum Master. She’s an avid runner who enjoys traveling, attending live concerts, and spending time with family and friends.
He has worked in project management for the last 10 years in a number roles and industries including financial sectors, educational institutions, to large digital media companies. Received his Bachelors in Business with a Minor in Computer Information Systems from Bridgewater College in the great state of Virginia. Innovation and the possibilities available brought him to Mobomo, and he hopes to contribute those exact assets back to the company. From a more personal level, he played baseball for over 20 years, so it’s safe to say sports are a large part of his life both watching and playing. He enjoys creative aspects to life as well whether that be randomly picking up a pen to draw, or being out in his garage building something new on a whim.
Systems and messaging Engineer with over 14 years IT experience, 10 of which as a senior exchange and MDM Engineer. Currently the office365 messaging engineer at ITA Dept. of Commerce. In his free time he likes spending time with the family including taking the kids to their soccer practices and games. Certifications include Lotus notes, Cisco and Microsoft.
Shad is a System Administrator with Mobomo with 17 years IT consulting at the US Department of Commerce – International Trade Administration. Previous versions of Shad include Bachelor of Science – Business Administration, IT contingency planning, Lotus Notes application development and rock n’ roll mediocracy.
Adekunle is a network engineer at Mobomo. He has over two years experience deploying and managing various networks for small and medium size businesses. His passion for networking and network devices has propelled him to seek a degree in electrical and computer engineering to one day stand at the forefront of internetworking technology. In his free time, he is part time IT professor and cycling enthusiast
Marshall Brown is a native Washingtonian who attended Rutgers University and is a veteran of the U. S. Army. He has worked in IT for over 11 years. His hobbies include PC gaming, music, art and cars
Tony is a Systems Engineer who has provided a wide range of IT services on projects in the private sector as well as contractual work for the federal government and non-profit organizations. Tony’s primary background is Windows network configuration which has allowed for hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. These skills are now being funneled into cloud development assignments for AWS and Azure. Tony enjoys exercising, spending time with family and friends, and reading (just don’t ask him the last time he picked up a book for leisure…embarrassing).
Darrell is prior service Air Force and has been serving the government in the IT field for over 20 years. He is currently working with the Mobomo System Engineering team at the Dep. Of Commerce, ITA. Darrell is a huge boxing fan and enjoys getting on the basketball court when he can.
Priya Surawkar is a Systems Engineer with over 9 yrs of experience in Storage & backups, with integration into cloud infrastructure. Over these years Priya has worked with various vendors and variety of Storage & backup software & hardware. Her current project gave her the opportunity to explore integration with Cloud technology. In her spare time she enjoys travelling & good food with family & friends.
Keith serves as the Lead Engineer and Architect at Dept of Commerce, ITA. With over 20 years of experience in non-profit, private, and federal sectors, he is OS and platform agnostic. Solving complex problems using the best available tools and approach is what motivates him. Over his career, he has worked with large scale projects for the IRS, Bank of America, Washington Gas, Constellation Energy, and Syngenta as well as smaller, more complex projects that included travel to 14 other countries. As a previous VMWare and OpenStack platform architect, he recognized the benefits and value of cloud computing early on, and made the transition. While preferring AWS platform deployments over others, he is also experienced in Azure, VMWare, and OpenStack cloud offerings and their benefits. Certifications and training platforms include, AWS, Microsoft and Azure , ITIL, VMWare, OpenStack, Drupal, and CompTia. In his spare time, he enjoys music, cycling, golf, urban exploring, and as much volunteer work as time permits.
Anderson is a passionate QA Engineer who specializes in functional and automation testing. He enjoys improving the quality of applications through bug reporting and test case development. Another one of Anderson’s passions is linguistics of both spoken and programmatic nature. Anderson teaches himself spoken languages in his free time. He speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese and is currently studying Serbian. He hopes to use his affinity for spoken languages to teach himself how to develop web and software applications.
Sol develops Android apps since 2012. She’s passionate about user experience and is eager to learn new technologies. She likes mobile development because it implies the perfect balance between logic and creativity. She loves what she does and is very committed to details. Also, she likes cats and enjoys painting in her spare time.
Zach is well versed on computing technologies and communicating with impact. He combines his analytic methodologies with his passion for problem-solving to deliver solutions. He holds two degrees from the College of William and Mary including a M.S. in Business Analytics and B.B.A. in Finance. Zach is a former Division I college baseball player who enjoys watching sports in his free time.
Ken Aung is a Project Manager leading complex mobile, web, and cloud infrastructure development for Mobomo’s commercial practice. Ken has over 10 years of experience in working in small to large enterprise environments as a SQL Server Admin, Production Server Admin, Deployments, and managing web and mobile dev projects. Prior to joining Mobomo, Ken served as a Project Manager with a focus on mobile iOS and Android development, healthcare, data analytics, and E-commerce.
Peter is a QA Engineer with over 8 years of IT experience. Learning new things and improving efficiency has been a lifelong goal for Peter. When it is time to play, you can find him on his bike or a hiking trail.
Ivan Duarte is an Acquia certified developer with 10 years of web development and 7 years of Drupal experience. He has both front and backend development skills. He contributed to drupal.org and likes to be involved with the Drupal community in Latin America. He likes to spend time with his family.
Scott is a Software Engineer bringing with him years of IT management and systems engineering experience. He is proficient in Microsoft enterprises. Scott specializes in custom DevOps work surrounding automation, scripting, and data migration across platforms. He is also experienced in hardware, both physical and virtual, as well as network infrastructure, storage, database, and resource utilization management. His free time is spent with his family, gardening, and going to soccer games at his home in Springfield, Mo.
Shadia has been a project manager for about 10 years. She initially started in the government subcontracting industry where she directly supported clients from the Department of Navy. She transitioned into the tech industry working for Debug Academy managing several different web development projects. She aims to create impactful web experiences, help clients overcome challenges, and not only meet client expectations, but exceed them. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family!
Jason has been working as a Web Developer since 2005. In late 2009, Jason was introduced to Drupal for the first time and has been working with it ever since, recently achieving his Acquia Certified Developer certification for Drupal 8. He has a diverse background including nearly 10 years working as a Nuclear Power Operator in the U.S. Navy’s Submarine forces. He lives and works from his home in rural northern New York.
Kris is a Software Engineer specializing in front-end development with Drupal. She is passionate about learning new technologies. In her spare time, she prefers to read and do yoga.
Stephen is a project manager who has gained extensive Agile/Scrum experience working for companies like Rally Software and Scaled Agile Inc. He also has dev experience with his last role being a Drupal front-end web developer. He graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a B.A. in Economics. In his free time he has a passion for fast cars, spends time with his family, and nerds out to anything Star Wars.

He graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. In his free time, Scott loves to spend time with his family, watch Chiefs football games, and do anything to get outdoors.
