Technical Project Manager

Mobomo is looking for an experienced Agile Technical Project Manager. This person will be responsible for managing a team of developers on a project leveraging agile DevSecOps best practices and tools including Confluence, JIRA for project management and a full CI/CD pipeline process including Docker, Kubernetes, JAVA, Bootstrap, React, Sonarqube, Fortify, Selenium. Applications are deployed in AWS using full automation of infrastructure-as-code, test-driven-development, security scans, and automated deployments using Jenkins that includes multiple stages that can be parameterized for each CI/CD job. It includes Build, Security Scan, Test, Code Scan, Artifact Creation, Image Creation (Release), and Deployment steps. Responsibilities include ensuring that the project follows the approved Mobomo CMMI Dev Level 3 / ISO 9001:2015 processes coupled with the customers agile SDLC that includes sprint planning, daily scrums, story and chore definitions, test case and verification tickets, and artifact generation to ensure security, accessibility, human factors, and safety approvals are included as a part of each release. Responsible for interacting and coordinating multiple stakeholders throughout the customer organization. Responsible for regular status meetings, monthly project reviews, and high-level roadmap, budgeting, and execution. 


  • Demonstrated experience in project management including, planning, scheduling, budgeting, issues and risk management and personnel management
  • Technical background as a developer familiar with cloud DevSecOps best practices to enable the understanding, planning, estimating and coordination of technical tasks with team and client management skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, utilizes resources, identify and resolve problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing software development projects using SCRUM - Agile Methodology
  • Possesses Business and IT strategy and server/domain management experience
  • Experience in government pre and post-award tracking system is highly desirable
  • Manage DevSecOps projects employing Atlassian
  • Client management skills

  • Manage project plan with resources and communicate objectives to team members
  • Shepard software projects through the development process
  • Follow and update roadmaps, timelines, and manage progress
  • Address issues as they arise by routing them to the appropriate team member
  • Oversight of internal local and AWS environments
  • QA of software and websites
  • Analyze, recommend and install technology solutions
  • Interface with clients
  • Provide status updates to senior management


  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and be clearable
  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent in IT, software development or related field.
  • Prior experience as a developer in order to fully understand technical requirements
  • Five years of experience in project management
  • PMP certification prefer
  • Scrum Certified
