Lead iOS Developer – Rosslyn, Virginia

  • Lead a team of mobile developers to create logistics management mobile solutions
  • Propose strong solutions to issues and then lead execution of approved solutions
  • Communicate goals, issues, status reports, escalation, etc. to all appropriate parties (sr. leadership, peers, client, operations, etc.)
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
  • Strategically plan and manage full development lifecycle
  • Assess and recommend best practices & future enhancements for development
  • Serve as lead for process changes
  • Coordinates local and domestics delivery teams to meet the deadline as needed
  • Identify and inventory potential risks and delays to scope/effort
  • Creates weekly and monthly progress reports
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, Masters desired, or equivalent work experience
  • In depth knowledge of best mobile practices
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high risk situations
  • Ability to multi task and to react well under pressure
  • Strong analytical and organization skills
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
  • Adapt and able to deal with frequent changes in the work environment
  • Ability to lead a team and appropriately delegate work, activity, assist with issue resolution, and communicate with sr. leaders and the client
  • Management experience preferred
