Project Manager – (DC AREA)

  • Have the ability to both collaborate with team members and to work independently
As our Project Manager (Certified Scrum Master), you will:
  • Work with product and project managers to define scope, determine initial project estimates and timelines
  • Serve as Scrum Master, ensuring the development teams are practicing Agile principles
  • Facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other activities as needed
  • Maintain process documentation
  • Support and assist the Account Manager
  • Work with technical team and clients on day-to-day technical progress, questions and solutions throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Be responsible for resolving development team blockers
If that sounds like you, then hopefully you have:
  • 3+ years of experience managing web development projects
  • Experience working in an Agile team environment
  • Scrum Alliance CSM or CSP certification or PMIs Agile Certified Professional (ACP)
  • Ability to communicate with audiences of various technical skill levels
  • Knowledge of software programming principles and components
  • Understanding of source code management processes (e.g. with tools like GitHub, gitlab, etc.)
  • Experience using Atlassian Jira and Confluence software or similar tools
  • Ability to work from our new Tysons area office
  • Have passed or have ability to pass an e-QIP background investigation
  • Experience working for a Federal Government client is a plus
